Psychotherapist

Roland Park Office
For the past 11 years, I have been working with adolescents, young adults and adults. I specialize in issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationships, and work and school stress. I believe in an empathetic, non -judgmental approach to helping clients understand their behaviors and patterns.
I specialize in working with clients using a somatic approach that helps connect the mind and body in effort to feel present and restored. I am trained in CBT, Trauma Focused CBT, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Mindfulness Based, Family Systems and Attachment theories.
I take a collaborative approach to therapy. By providing a safe environment, we will make space for a deeper understanding of your thoughts and feelings. I teach clients to become observers of their thoughts and feelings through psychoeducation as well as somatic and mindful practices. You will learn to respond instead of react to internal and external stimuli. You will leave therapy having a deeper understanding of yourself and feel a greater sense of control that leads to a feeling of wellbeing and integration.
Our sessions will be used to explore the uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that drive behaviors. I promise to treat you with respect, compassion and genuine concern. We will work together to understand patterns from your past and current challenges in an effort to overcome and move forward. My approach is supportive and collaborative.
