Each of us have faced countless transitions in our lives: relationship transitions, work and school transitions, transitions from one phase of life to another as we age and grow. We are all continually navigating layered and complex transitions—some of our own choosing, and some that fall upon us unexpectedly.

I believe that each of us possesses our own unique, inherent strengths, and that sometimes what hinders us is simply that our strengths and our tools have temporarily been buried, or drowned out, by the wildness of life and the often rapid pace of its transitions.

My approach as a therapist is to be an unconditionally positive presence for the people I work with. My goal is for therapy to be a place to slow things down—to establish a dedicated space where you feel heard and seen. Ultimately, my aim is to walk alongside you in such a way that the time we share in therapy serves as a jumping off point to spring toward personal growth and greater fulfillment.

I have worked with young people and their families at every level of Baltimore’s K-12 public school system, as well as with young adults as they find their career paths after high school. I have experience working in an inpatient mental health setting, as well as community organizing in Baltimore and abroad. In addition, I have worked with unaccompanied newcomer immigrant children just arriving to the country, as well as the foster families who welcome them here.

I am focused on helping people of all ages navigate grief, loss, and other major life challenges in order to promote human flourishing and wellbeing.
