Founder, Chief of Operations, Psychotherapist

MD Board Approved Supervisor - Clinical Social Work

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

We all have times when we may need help to find our way through a situation, improve how we feel, deal with some longer term issues, or bring more meaning into our lives. Many clients I see deal with depression, anxiety, bipolar, relationship issues, life transitions, lack of meaning, or other life issues.

My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, ranging from practical coping skills to deeper inner work, including dreamwork depending on what appeals to you. I love helping people get beyond their symptoms to bring more meaning and possibility into their lives.

My goal is that the therapy is helpful to you in understanding yourself and what you are experiencing, understand why it is happening, and figure out how to make changes for a deeper and more satisfying life.

I have been practicing as a licensed clinical social worker since 1999, initially at a community mental health center, and then private practice since 2004. While my initial training was psychodynamic, My clinical viewpoint is largely informed by Jungian theory, as I find it to be a rich deep model for understanding our experiences. I also greatly value and utilize the helpful techniques and strategies provided by cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness based theories.
