You may find attending therapy to be difficult or scary. I deeply admire the courage it takes to seek therapy and begin the journey of self-exploration and healing. It is not always easy to show up for ourselves, especially when we are facing difficult emotions or life circumstances. However, it is in these moments of vulnerability that the greatest opportunities for growth and healing arise. My hope is that my clients feel supported and encouraged to continue showing up for themselves, even when it may be challenging, and that together we can work towards creating lasting positive change in their lives.
You are the expert in your own life. My role is to work collaboratively with you to create a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your unique needs and preferences, drawing on evidenced based techniques such as CBT, mindfulness, exposure response therapy, and other eclectic approaches. I prioritize cultural sensitivity, trauma-informed care, and a strength-based perspective in my work, empowering you to achieve your goals and improve your overall mental wellness.
My personality is characterized by a warm and comforting nature, as well as an outgoing and approachable demeanor. My love of books, music, ceramics, cooking, and spending time outdoors also informs my approach, as I believe in the power of creative expression and the therapeutic benefits of engaging in self-care. Creating a holistic life that brings joy and fulfillment is important to me, and I encourage clients to explore and cultivate their own interests as a means of enhancing their overall well-being.
